“Boone at Noon” Saturdays
One Saturday each month, April through September, we will have a series of 30-45 minute presentations on Daniel Boone, related to Boone, his family, or the activities that he participated in on the Kentucky Frontier.
Dates for the “Boone at Noon” series will be Saturday, April 11 Jerry Raisor Fort Boonesborough State Park Curator "Daniel Boone and Land Acquisition"
Saturday, May 2 Pam Eddy Park Ranger - Historian Cumberland Gap National Park "Daniel Boone and the Cumberland Gap"
Saturday, June 27 Jim Caudill, local historian will be presenting his program “A Boone Related Flintlock Rifle". The gun was built by Daniel Boone Bryan a nephew of Daniel Boone.
Saturday, July 11 Fort Boonesborough’s own Bill Farmer will present "Boone - The Natural Man"
Saturday, August 8 Paul Tierney, Park Naturalist at Blue Licks Battlefield State Resort Park will speak on “Boone at Blue Licks”
Saturday, September 5 Jessie Mains 18th Century Longhunter Re-Enactor "Daniel Boone and the Longhunters"
