Christmas Traditions

DSC03028

Twas a few weeks before Christmas and all though the fort
the cabins were lighted with candles and more

And visitors came to see and enjoy
the Christmas traditions for each girl and boy

The blockhouse was filled with seasonal treats
and dancing and singing of many a feet.

Thanks to the foundation and Kristi and Scott, Jackie and Larry and all that they brought.

Danny  Hinton and Berni New along with the Morgans, Jon and Tina, Larry, Mike and Michael too. Thanks to Carl, Tony and Tommy for the “Christmas guns” that were both traditional and oh so much fun

Anne had the store so sparkly and bright
and Bill and Scott had the fires alight.

The crowds filed in with the moon all aglow
as over the course of two nights hundreds would come and go.

I’m sure there were more I’ve forgotten to name,
Plus the Foundation members that are always the same: Elizabeth, George,  Barbara, Larry,  and the Harrison Family.

So if you missed us this Christmas, it was quite a site
So here’s a wish for a Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night.
